    Need your input!

    The Archdiocese of New York is excited to participate in World Youth Day in 2019. This WYD the Cardinal is requiring all those who are participating register through the Archdiocese. Because of the unusual scheduling of the 2019 WYD, the Archdiocese will be offering two options for participation: a full seven-night WYD experience and an intensive four-night WYD experience. To aid in making reservations and scheduling, could you take the following brief survey. This survey will NOT register you officially for WYD participation.

    • Monday December 18, 2017 is Reconciliation Monday. Every parish in the Archdiocese of NY will have priests available to hear confessions from 4pm - 8pm. Read this article to hear why you should go!
    • Pax Christi Metro New York (PCMNY), a regional chapter of International Peace Movement, is pleased to invite you to help us celebrate the good work of young people who are making their world a better, more peaceful place. Do you know a young person of high school age who's actions help promote peace either at home or abroad?
    • Pope Francis has called for a two year campaign to encourage Catholics to encounter migrants and refugees, called "Share the Journey".  The campaign seeks to put a human face on migration and encourage people to see beyond the numbers and truly meet Christ in those around us who leave their homeland behind, oftentimes by necessity. 
    • Learn more about our new initiative in working with parishes to help build youth ministry, training leaders, and providing resources in youth ministry for youth ministers and their team.  
    • Every parish in the Archdiocese is receiving a subscription to the incredible Catholic website FORMED.org! FORMED.org is kind of like Netflix for Catholics! It has online streaming videos for adults, youth, and children.
